Error: Twilio Error 20404

What's Causing This Error?

Error 20404 means the resource requested is not existing or is unavailable. Multiple scenarios may raise this error, such as:

  • Trying to retrieve a non-existent resource.
  • Trying to retrieve a resource for a non-existent SID.
  • Missing SID.

Solution - Here's How To Resolve It

To solve this issue, you have to ensure the resource you requested exists, and it is better to keep in mind that the API is case-sensitive. Thus, if you request a resource named "calls" where the actual resource name is "Calls", the error 20404 is raised. You also have to verify that the account SID is valid and that the base URL is https://api.twilio.com.
